Job Description

As a Custom Order Specialist, you’ll be responsible for processing requests that come through along with delegating/communicating requests to the appropriate teams. You must also manage your inbox and respond to customers within our 30-minute promise.  

Duties and responsibilities: 

Custom Signage orders

  • ● Requires knowledge of Materials, Films, Sizes and Sign legends (along with learning MUTCD Catalog) that we offer.
  • ● Confirms all quantities and legends are accurate for each request on orders/quotes while confirming rates/margins based on customer history or AM/BDM notes.
  • ● Checks all proofs are accurate in both legends, spelling and file size, along with filing in Onedrive for the production team before processing order, along with receiving customer’s approval on all new legends.
  • ● Learns new Signage SKU’s going into effect Q1-24
  • ● Relays/confirms realistic lead times to customers based on order sizes

Service Work

  • ● Processes of KV Testing orders
    • ◇ Accurately enters orders based on take-offs that are submitted by our technician and sent through our smart sheet. This must be done in a timely manner as service work is expected to be a 1-week turnaround time.
      • ◾ Class 00-4 Gloves, Class 00-2 Mats, Class 00-2 Sleeves, Class 0-2 Boots all done in house.
      • ◾ Additional materials will have to be sent out to Safety Test/Burlington
    • ◇ Quotes and processes of Gas Monitor Quotes
      • ◾ Accurately quoting calibrations and repairs of Honeywell Micro Clips and Max XTII units done in house
      • ◾ Must get customer approvals before processing repair work.
        • – Must follow up on quotes to get approvals.
    • ◇ Routes Pickups for Service work
      • ◾ Entering RAs into the system for Items to be routed to On-Demand
  • ● General Orders
    • ◇ Manages your inbox and responds to customers within our 30-minute promise.
    • ◇ Processes requesting that come through along with delegating/communicating requests to the appropriate teams.
