Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and driven Sales/Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead key sales initiatives, expand our market presence, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lead generation, sales strategy, and client relationship management. This role will focus on identifying new opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and nurturing relationships to secure long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities included:
Lead Generation and Project Identification:
- ● Research and identify new business opportunities using tools such as Barbour-ABI.com for construction sales projects and our existing Pipedrive CRM.
- ● Monitor industry trends and project pipelines to target potential clients and sectors.
- ● Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of leads and opportunities.
Client Engagement:
- ● Conduct sales calls and schedule meetings to introduce products and services.
- ● Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations tailored to client needs.
- ● Build and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- ● Working within our Pipedrive CRM system
Pipeline and Sales Management:
- ● Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and track progress against targets.
- ● Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
- ● Report regularly on sales activities, progress, and results.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- ● Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and support for client needs.
- ● Provide feedback to the product development team to enhance offerings based on market demand.
Qualifications
- ● Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
- ● Strong understanding of lead generation tools and techniques.
- ● Proficient in using CRM systems, such as Pipedrive, to manage leads and campaigns.
- ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ● Ability to create compelling presentations and deliver them effectively.
- ● Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- ● Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- ● Familiarity with the industrial and construction sectors is a plus.
